Creative Vibe Design Competition Student Division Eligibility

Competition
Open to students currently studying and residing in Sydney, NSW only.
Provide proof of permanent residential Sydney address and provide proof of current student identification when entering the competition.

Prize
Prize includes:
• Mentoring program for winner to prototype their design working with GCF’s R&D Manager, including:
-concept drawing
-sourcing
-prototype
-analysis
-modifications
-2^nd prototype

• $1000 prize money
• Prototype (to keep) of their design
• If the design is included in the GCF Creative Vibe portfolio, the winner will receive royalties, see Terms & Conditions.

GCF will provide travel cost, this will be discussed further with the winner.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. No submissions will be returned.
2. All submissions are exclusive to Gregory Commercial Furniture and may not be submitted to other manufacturers.
3. Submissions must be original
4. The winner will receive a cash prize of Aus $1000 and a prototype of their product.
5. For a period of twelve months from competition open date, all submissions will be available to Gregory Commercial Furniture for selection. If a product submitted is manufactured and sold by Gregory Commercial Furniture or its subsidiary companies GCF shall first pay a royalty of five (5%) percent on the gross sale amount less any taxes and return credits to the submitter of the design.
6. A confidentiality agreement will be undertaken by both parties.
7. All materials submitted become the property of Gregory Commercial Furniture and will not be acknowledged or returned. Submissions must be original and unpublished. Gregory Commercial Furniture will not be responsible for lost, late, damaged, stolen, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected mail/entries.
8. By participating, each entrant (and entrant's parent/legal guardian) agrees to these Official Rules and agrees that it has assigned to Sponsors all rights, including copyrights in and to any and all entries/photographs/designs submitted by entrant.
9. By applying you are granting us permission to publish/supply images and details of you/your products to the press for the purposes of promoting.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The Winner, by acceptance of prize, agree that
1. Gregory Commercial Furniture and all of their respective affiliated companies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winners against any claims of liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or real, personal, or intellectual property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize from participation in this contest or contest related activities or use of entrant's photographic submission by Gregory Commercial Furniture and
2. Except where legally prohibited, winners (and winner's parents/legal guardians) grant (and agree to confirm such grant in writing) permission for Gregory Commercial Furniture and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, and submission(s), for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the world wide web, without notice, review or approval. If the winner and or the winning entry is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the said prize will be forfeited. Taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner and or their parents/legal guardians.
3. Intellectual Property registration is to be completed by the entrant at their own expense.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Neither Gregory Commercial Furniture nor its agencies are responsible for cancelled markets, lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, illegible, postage due, stolen, returned, or undelivered, entries or mail, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunications, failed computer, network, telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or failures of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network. Gregory Commercial Furniture is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest and assumes no responsibility for any errors, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the website.
In no event will Gregory Commercial Furniture Sponsors, or their respective, affiliates and related companies, their advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of access to and use of internet site www.vibefurniture.com.au, or the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from said site.
